Prolong menstrual for about 14 days

I'm 39 now & gave birth to my 3rd son in 11/2007 by ceserian (for all the 3 kids) together with sterilization. My period prolong for about 14 days ever since I gave birth to my 3rd son but most of the time is only with brown spots or when I wipe. I notice for the first 7 days i have more blood clots compared to few years ago. I have no other problem except the prolong mentrual. Any doctors can give me any ideas? or it is normal when aging?

Welcome to ehealthforum

Prolonged bleeding can be indicative of hormonal imbalance and to have sudden change in the perods is not normal. It can be due to fibroids,PID etc and you need to get it evaluated.
Sometimes perimenopausal changes can also begin early which can present with these symptoms.Consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation.
