Progressive stretching at night

User Profile
I'm a 44 year old who has been suffering with extreme, progressive stretching at night for 3 years. I am currently waking 10 times a night in a full body stretch. I feel exhausted constantly due to never getting a full nights sleep.
Like many of you I have seen many doctors who think I'm crazy. I'm on no medications and have no health history. I've recently started seeing an acupuncturist to get help with this condition. I've had 4 visits with no change in the stretching.
Has anyone found any thing that works? Anything at all? Im desperate to sleep.
Thanks

Welcome to e health forum.

The term of Progressive Stretching - is misleading and it is not possible , what exactly you are referring to.

But lack of sleep associated with musculoskeletal disorders associated with muscle spasms, abnormal movements can be a possible factor of your issues.

You may benefit by consulting a sleep therapist or a neurologist who can provide you proper medical opinion.

I hope this helps.
