Progestin allergy and IUD migraine w aura

I was placed on progestin only pills after my daughter was born, and I had an allergic reaction it and developed erythema nudosum. Very painful and uncomfortable by the time we pin pointed the cause. So once off that and out of my system the decided to put me on Mirena and that cause migraines with aura. So being that my system doesn't like progestin, or any other hormones it seems, what are my options or recommendations for birth control aside from condoms. I want to have more kids but when the time is right. I just feel like I'm playing with fire. Even when using condoms, it irritates my skin so much and makes sex very uncomfortable.

This is a very strenuous situation as I can see.but why are you opting for hormonal ones when you have problems with it. Just opt for a simple nonhormonal IUD termed copper T, which is an efficient contraceptive as well as nonhormonal also.
