Hello! I have done the progesterone test on day 21 of my cycle and the result was 10.5. Is it ok? It means that I had a sufficiently good ovulation? Thank you.

Welcome to ehealthforum.
A day 21 progesterone level test is a blood test that confirms ovulation, and is done once on the 21st through 23rd day of your menstrual cycle, with day 1 being the first day of bleeding. A 21 day progesterone level should be at least 6.5 ng per milliliter and it is best if it is above 18 ng per milliliter. The progesterone levels should be more than 15 ng/ml about 7 days after your ovulation. This suggests that the corpus luteum is functioning normally and there was egg release from the ovary. A low Day 21 progesterone levels suggests the cycle was an anovulatory (no egg was produced) cycle.
Discuss your test values with our gynecologist/infertility specialist for more details on further treatment options in case needed.
Take care.
