problems with my ability to walk and stay on my feet.

Hi I have severe problems with my ability to walk and stay on my feet since becoming ill with Schizophrenia and so wondered if it was conected some how, is it a symtom of my illness?

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

In all probability it is the symptom of the medications you are taking. Talk to your doctor about this—see if a change in dose, timing or type of medication helps.
Other than this it can be due to peripheral neuropathy of diabetes or hypothyroidism, lupus etc. Hope this helps. Take care!
