My three year old has been getting sharp pain on the back of the head where she grabs it and cries hysterically for about 20 seconds .. these happen 1 a month maybe but these last two episode happen two weeks apart ...she will be playing fine and out of no where cry grab her head and tun towards us .. we rub and soon as it goes away she wants to play again .. the only other “neurological” symptoms would be that she is a gagger not sure if that has to do with the other but that’s the only thing I can think of other then that she is your typical laughing hyper 3 year old

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Headache in a 3 year old severe enough to stop her playing activity needs work up and examination by a paediatrician.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
