pregnant even after getting her periods twice?

User Profile
Hey! Me and my girlfriend was fooling around a lil bit. After which she got her periods on the 14th of the month which lasted for 4 days. She described it similar to the previous ones she had. She again got her periods for 4 days on the next month 14th. After that she moved to foreign country for her post graduation. Her periods was due on the 14th of this month but she still hasn't got it. Although she seems to be having a white discharge for the past few days. Can she pregnant even after getting her periods twice? She has not indulged in any sexual activities after the fooling around part. Thanks!

Welcome to ehealthforum,
If she was during her fertile days at the time of your sexual contact (and not on any form of birth control measures), chances of pregnancy could e present. Many women tend to experience period like bleeding at expected period time (decidual bleeding) during first few months of pregnancy. Stress of lifestyle changes, travel, changes in eating/sleep/exercise pattern can affect hormonal pattern causing period abnormalities. If pregnancy is suspected, look out for development of any other new symptoms. Wait and watch for her next periods. If you suspect chances of pregnancy, or if she does not get periods within 10 days of expected period dates, or if she gets abnormal periods, she should consider visiting her doctor/gynecologist for thorough examination (to confirm pregnancy related changes/signs in body) and blood/serum HCG level test (to confirm/rule out pregnancy accurately). She should be in regular monitoring and follow-up with her treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Take adequate rest. Drink plenty of water. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
