Hello and welcome to eHealth Forum!

If you had unprotected sex three weeks after taking the shot, then you cannot be pregnant. A depot shot is effective from the first month. You are cautioned to take the shot on time so that if you have unprotected sex during the period you are not under cover of the shot, you can become pregnant. In your case during the 3 weeks that you were late in taking the shots you did not have unprotected sex. So you are safe that way. Chances of pregnancy are very less.

If your stomach hurts from time to time, it can be due to acidity which is a common side effect of these shots. It could also be due to constant hunger due to diabetes if you have.

Since a confirmed diagnosis cannot be given on net please discuss these possibilities with your doctor once. Hope this helps. Take care!
