Especially eHealthy
needadviceasap, It does not depend on sex but on ovulation.

An early results test like First Response Early Results is the most sensitive test. They can show positive as soon as 4 days before her next menstruation. If she does not know when that is, test 17 days after the sex.

Getting a negative test that early does not mean she is not pregnant. She should repeat the test 7 days after her period was due.

Best of luck!

Are you asking how long a positive pregnancy test will still be positive after you already know you are pregnant? If so, the answer is until after you deliver the baby and the placenta.
