I took pregnancy tests every other day after my missed menstrual but always have gotten a negative. After two missed menstrual, I finally received a positive. How far am I really? I haven't set an appointment with any doctors yet.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Usually these tests are very sensitive to detect pregnancy at an earliest,i.e. just missing the cycle. However, here the scenario is different as you had already two negative tests.I suggest you to meet your doctor for a clinical examination.She/he might advice you also a blood test as well as an ultrasonography to detect the site as well as age of the pregnancy.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
