Pregnancy possible after missing earlier pill ?

User Profile
I started the combined pill last month but lost one pill so only took 20 instead of 21.

I started the next pack on time after the seven day break. I then had unplanned sex on the third pill taking day of the second pack. I'm really worried about being pregnant, should I take the morning after pill?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
You have missed one pill from your previous pack and you are now on the second pack.Usually, this does not harm your contraceptive efficacy as long as you have taken all the pills as a regular basis.I do not find any reason to get tensed here. You are fully protected and there is no need to take any morning after pill here.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
