I'm only 18 and i would like to get pregnant yet i want to know what are the risks at my age? Is there a better age? I'm getting married this coming summer and income or support for a child is not a problem we have. If you think it could be okay to try and get pregnant what could i do to make it healthier for the child and me?

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

At 18 years you can become pregnant without any problem. If you are mentally prepared to have a child at such a young age, then go ahead.

Eat healthy, go for your ante-natal check-ups regularly and take iron, folic acid and calcium pills as advised.
All the best for your marriage and future pregnancy! Take care!
