Possibly pregnant taking pill ?

I don't know if im pregnant or not. Me and my boyfriend have had unprotected sex about a week before I started my period and a couple of times during that week. We also did the day I started my period. I know for a fact that he came in me. And I also started birth control the day after I got my period. This is only my second day taking the pill. But I'm really afaird I could be pregnant and killing the baby or something. Please help me.

Taking birth control will not hurt the baby, many women get pregnant and do not know it while on the pill. If you are on your period now, I am going to venture to say you are not pregnant, but if you have sex while on your period and the sperm (they can live 5 days inside you)live until you are ovulating there is a chance you can become pregnant. You should have your b/f put a condom on until you know your BC is working, usually about 2-3 weeks after starting the pills. If you want to rule out all chances of becoming pregnant you should have him use a condom every time you have sex, as you can still become pregnant on the pill alone, the chance are slim but still there!!! Good luck!!!

Hi,
I was kinda in the same boat. I ran out of birth control last month. I got my last period sept.7th and i didnt get more birth control until about a week and a half later. So i didnt bother starting it until my next period. My period was kinda late but i finally got it on saturday. Oct. 10. I know my body and when it comes to getting my period it will make it so its early. This time it was kinda late. I know birth control makes your cycle kind of weird sometimes but this happened before and was early.
Im on seaonale so i wont get my next period for about another 3 months.
So during the last month me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex even when i was ovulating. Now when i go my period on saturday it was quite heavy and lots of pain. Sure normal for being off birth control but lots of bad headaches now and even 2 weeks before i got my period. On sunday i had to start my birth control again (day after i got my period) it was like my period had completely gone away.
Normaly every hour and a half i would change my tampon but it was like it could last the whole day. Then monday it was completely gone. Nothing little spotting but hardly anything.
My friend had said that she watched a documentry about something like that and the women was pregnant. Not sure what to do. Go for a blood test or what? I had taken two pregnancy test before my period and both negitive. Then i found out the negitive can be quite common. What should i do?
if i may also add that my headaches have been basically continuous. On and off but more on then off. I have had maybe 6 days on total in the past 3-4 weeks where i have not had it.
Yesterday my head hurt so bad i actually had to throw up. I was so sick.
On Saturday i had this sharp pain going through my stomach and back at the same time. lasted for about 20 secs but as well as chest pain more frequently lately.

luvabuudy78,
I would wait until your Nov. period to see if you even have one. I am 32 weeks pregnant and took the pill religiously. My husband and I was not ready to have a baby but, is now greatful that we could get pregnant and everything is good. Your birth control don't take affect immediately they recommend taking it for a month with other forms of protection. Birth control won't hurt the baby but you need to find out for sure if you are or not so you don't do anything that will possibly harm the baby if you are. Good luck.
