User Profile
let me start off by saying i have endometriosis and i have had 3surgeries for this. my latest was in Sept 2010. I had just finished my cycle 3days ago and of course it wasnt normak due to the endo. I had sex 3/12/11 and there was blood everywhere. enough to wear a panty liner overnight but nothing today. i have a lot of cramping and pain in my ovary area on both sides. i know i have an ovarian cyst on the left. but most pain is on the right. is it possible that the cyst ruptured during intercourse? i did have have pain during also.

Hello and welcome to eHealth forum!

Pain during intercourse and bleeding after than could be due to endometriosis spreading down, vaginal infection, STD, frictional injury, or even due to uterine fibroids. Ovarian cyst is a possibility too, but will usually not cause bleeding. Please consult your gynecologist regarding this as a confirmed diagnosis is not possible on net. Hope this helps. Take care!
