My husband and I have been married for 43 years. He has been my only partner and neither one of us ever had any kind of STD.Recently my gynocologists thought I had possible herpes. She didn't test me, but I was quite upset. I recently found out my husband was with one other person in the early 70's - over 35 years ago. He said it was one time only. He has never shown ANY symptoms.
My question is that is it possible I could show signs of an std this many years ago!!

Herpes does not normally hide like that. Herpes can also be transferred from mouth to genitals during oral sex. So if he gave you herpes, it can be from oral herpes.

Did your doctor confirm that you have herpes?

Take care!
