possible for a yeast infection to surface after a few hours?

User Profile
Hey, I have a pretty simple question (I think...) I had unprotected sex with my friend, I did not clean myself afterwards and I went to bed. The next morning I woke up with a lump on my penis. I'm curious to if it is possible for a yeast infection to surface after only a few hours? Please someone knowledgeable respond as quickly as possible.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and i understand your concern. Lump may arise in a few hours with sexual activity unprotected, any lump should be evaluated for STDs and yeast infections first. Fordyce spots and clogged sebaceous pores may be considered afterwards.

I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
