Positive Pregnancy after complete hysterectomy

I have had a complete Hysterectomy for 6+ years. I am supposed to have back surgery which was postponed due to a positive pregnancy test. I am not on estrogen or anything haven't been for years how is this possible?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
There are three options.First, you did not have a hysterectomy.Second, the test is wrong and the third, you rarely might have a tumor inside which is secreting pregnancy hormones like HCG. This can give you a positive pregnancy testing.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
