Plan B necessary on pill ?

So, I've been on birth control, Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, for about a year and a half now. My family has a history of being like, extremely fertile though, so my boyfriend and I always used condoms. Last night we kind of got caught up in the passion and didn't use a condom, so now I'm really worried about it. I don't remember what times of the month you're most likely to get pregnant, but my period started last Wednesday. Should I take Plan B, or am I just overreacting? And if I do take it, would it have a bad reaction because I am on birth control?

Your most fertile time is the week before ovulation. Ovulation is about 14 days before your next period.

HOWEVER, if you are on Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo, you do not become fertile at all as long as you take it as prescribed.

Take care!
