Plan B messing up cycle ?

Hey i had a quick question...

in mid-September i used plan b because our condom broke and in October (Oct 8) i started my period, which was on time but it was short and now its November and i was suppose to be on my period November 8th but i didn't get on it and i took over 8 pregnancy test after the missed period and yesterday i went to plan-parenthood and got everything checked and they said i am not pregnant, and i am going to start my new pills when i get my next period, but last night i had sex, and he did wear a condom but to be safe i took plan b, but i am still not on my period. Am i pregnant? Can plan b mess up my cycle...

Well actually you are right on target. Yes, Plan B can mess up your cycles because these morning after pills have a very high dose of hormones. They do prevent pregnancy if taken within 72 hours but they can also cause the cycle to become irregular.

Since all the pregnancy tests are negative and you also had a checkup and not found to be pregnant, you should consult a gynecologist and get periods under prescription medication. You can then start a contraceptive pill you can take regularly. Hope this helps. Take care!
