Hello, ladies! Wanted to share a bit of my fertility history. (Let's say, infertility one). I'm 38 yo. Pretty ripe age for passing more ivfs. Diagnosed on DOR. DH is 39 yo with perfect swimmers. We tried natural cycles with clomid - too many to count! Then IUI round which ended in BFN. We began feeling uncomfortable and not confident with the clinic we were with before, so decided to switch it. So that found ourselves abroad in June 2016. IVF#1 ER - 4 follies and only one egg! Still this one developed into a beautiful 5day blast which was put back. Unfortuntely it didn't make home and we got BFN. After the heartbreak we needed a long rest for emotional recovering. And finally were told my eggs were not going to work and all the following attempts with them would be a waste of money. With all this we're at the beginning of a completely new route - DE IVF. Putting so much hope in this option! After all the previous failures I feel like I have no more strength for being tricked upon. Hope to find some friends here to chat and share thought with. Also, ladies, who experienced egg dontion, would you share how it went for you. Thanks in advance. Good luck to all!

Hi! Just a small update. We're hopefully heading off for treatment in a week. The clinic has already sent us the list of required documents. These are: transvaginal ultrasound check results. Breast ultrasound and mamography check results. Chest X-ray (for both me and my dh). Doctor's certificate that I'm healthy enough to carry out a baby and that pregnancy is not prohibited for me. Also sperm count (if avaliable). We're looking forward the initial consultation. This is the first step only, but I feel this time is ours. Thanks to all reading my thread. Still waiting for some words of support and personal experience. Be blessed always!

Hmm, seems not too active - lol. Still for those who read another update. Initial consultation with the clinic passed well and smooth. Together with dh we came to the clinic to undergo the required tests. These were blood tests for both, pap smear and sperm count. Dr studies medical records. Then she performed transvaginal ultrasound check. Finally evaluated our chances to successfully accomplish the program. Then we signed the agreements. Our dr explained us the treatment plan. They gave us all meds needed for the subsequent stimulation protocol (meds cost is included into package price). Here we go!
