Placenta healing after hysterectomy ?

How long does it take the placenta to heal after full hysterectomy?

The placenta is an organ that connects the developing fetus to the uterine wall to allow nutrient uptake, waste elimination, and gas exchange via the mother's blood supply.

Once the hysterectomy is done and in case someone is pregnant at that time, then the placenta is removed aong with the uterus and thus there’s no point of healing of the placenta.

If you mean the healing of the wound, then it takes approximately 4-6 weeks for the healing to take place. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
