Pinkish discharge and internal burning

User Profile
I had total hysterectomy on Dec 2009. My ovaries were left intact. Few days back I noticed tinge of pinkish discharge when I urinate. Now I have internal burning pain and muscle pull type of feelings deep inside my abdomen where the abdomen stitches are. I'm worried and scared.

Welcome to the ehealthforum. I am glad to help you out.

The symptoms which you have described are suggestive of a bladder/urine infection (cystitis).

I’ll suggest getting your urine examined and you’ll probably need a short course of antibiotics to take care of the infection.

Please do drink lots of water as it helps in flushing out the bacteria form the urinary tract.

Please do consult a physician for the same as it is not possible to make an online diagnosis. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
