Please respond!!!!

I have pink eye and I have been on my antibiotic eye drops for more than 24 hours. I was sent home from work and I was told that on an antibiotic or not, pink eye is still contagious. All my Dr. told me was that if I use the eye drops as prescribed, I should be fine. I need to know if I am still contagious. Am I??

I get pink eye quite because I was a stay at home mom with two small children who were still in diapers. Hate pink eye! Anyway, after 24 hrs of using the eye drops, your pink eye is no longer contagious (the bacteria is in the gunk) but do still wash your hands.
