Pica stopped 10 yrs now again i'm craving it

Hi, I am 32 yrs, Female. I used to have 'pica' when in school and used to eat chalk (slate pencils) earlier. This has stopped since past 10+ yrs and i had forgotten all abt it. Suddenly a few weeks back, i am again craving for it and want to know why it so happened and how can i avoid falling back to this habit. i have gone 10+ yrs w/o it and dont want to start.

I read your question and I understand your concern.
This could be due to iron deficiency anemia or worm infestation. I would suggest you to have peripheral smear, serum ferritin and ultrasound abdomen to sort out the problem.
