I am 21 weeks pregnant and was persuaded to keep this baby by my boyfriend. He breaks up with me and leaves me all the time, and I feel very alone. I kept the baby hoping for a bright future but it just looks grey. I haven't felt much happiness throughout the pregnancy and wish the baby would just go away. I don't think I'll be a good mother and my boyfriend threatens to take the baby away anyway. I suffered from depression prior to getting pregnant but went off my meds due to literature I read on the drug during pregnancy. I've also been off work and miss feeling productive. Thoughts of suicide creep into my head more than once a day.

Welcome to ehealthforum,
If you had been diagnosed with depression before pregnancy, then chances of worsening of depression is possible during pregnancy. The symptoms that you describe suggest possibility of pregnancy induced depression (also called Pregnancy blues). Presence of suicidal thoughts also indicates the severity of the problem. If the symptoms have been affecting your daily life and your personal relations, you should consider visiting your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further evaluation and assistance. Based on the evaluation results, medications (safe ones that can be used during pregnancy) would be started to help you. Counseling sessions would also help you to cope up with your symptoms and carry on with pregnancy smoothly.
Take care.
