Periods more frequent - menopause ?

User Profile
My girlfriend is currently suffering from more frequent periods than usual. She is nearly 50. Is this likely to just be the menopause or something worse? And the bleeding is worrying her and sometimes more than usual. She has Factor XI blood deficiency so has slight problem with blood clotting.

Hi davidak:...Have your girlfriend see her OB-GYN...This is something that really should be checked out...She could be anemic and need some extra medication or there could be something else that may be a problem...Take care...
