periods are late and I constantly feel uneasy

User Profile
Hi doctor! My periods are late and I constantly feel uneasy and get a feeling of vomiting. A lot of times I even vomit and start feeling better. I thought it might be because of change of weather as I have come from Delhi to Mumbai...but things are not improving. Please suggest.

Menstruation Answer A50021
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern.

If its just a one off cycle then it could be due to a number of causes. For the vomiting and nausea you could take a PPI and anti emetic eg metoclopramide but please rule out pregnancy first by doing a home pregnancy test.

wishing you best of health

thanks
