i have read a few queries and answers on this topic already, but i wanted to ask about me specifically.
For the last 2 peiods, immediately after my period has finished - normal length since i came off the pill a few months ago is 4-5 days - i get brown and clear discharge (mixed together) which is gloopy. it doesn't smell and is not terribly heavy. i think it may just be old blood but wondered why this has only happened recently when i've been having periods for years.
Also i have been reading about STIs and STDs. i have never had sex but i have given oral sex a few times unprotected but this was at least 3 years ago. what are the chances of my being unaware of a STI or STD this long after and with no symptoms? lots say people can be completely unaware they have anything - but is this true for 3+ years?

There are std's that may not show symptoms for years. Do yourself a favor and get tested.
