Period changes and the possibility of pregnancy

My boyfriend and I have had sex multiple times every month. I had heavy bleeding tuesday, than wenesday and thursday it was light spotting than today (friday) its was heavy brown, I have also been having headaches some really bad others okay. Am I pregnant? I haven't taken a test yet I'm going to this week.

The color and pattern of periods can vary from cycle to cycle and depends a lot on stress and strain in the previous months. A change in routine can also result in this. The presence of a local infection or discharge can also alter the color.


Headaches also can be due to various causes like migraines, tension headaches, cluster headaches, compression of cervical spinal nerves, refractive errors of the eye, acidity, sleep disorders, stress, and caries tooth or internal ear infections.


However, certain women do bleed during the first three months of their pregnancy. Hence, if you had unprotected intercourse during this last month, then you should take a pregnancy test.


It is difficult to comment beyond this without actually examining you. Do consult your doctor once regarding headaches and a pregnancy test. Hope this helps. Take care!
