This may be a little too much info for some but I need other woman’s experiences on what this may be/the cause . Any advice or suggestions are appreciated
So , I had a period at the start of the month . A week later it came back again but as spotting ( brownish) not its a medium flow but black/ brown ( more black) with blood clots . I’ve had this second period for over a week now . Btw usually my periods are once a month for 7 day , so this is quite worrying and unusual for me . Could anyone know what it is ? Thank you

Hello.
Welcome to this forum.
Unscheduled cycle once or twice in a year is not uncommon and is usually due to the temporary hormonal changes inside you due to stress or anxiety or tension or even change of place or diet. So, for a similar single episode, don't worry. But if there are similar instances again and again, you need to talk with your doctor about it.
Hope I can address your query. Please visit your doctor if there is any further confusion as without a clinical examination it is not possible to opine through an online medical forum.
