Hello Doctor,

I have been having penile burning/ tingling sensation since a month. I had my std tests which all came negative. I have visited urologist also but did not get any solution for this. May I know what are the possible reasons that can cause this issue. Does any std causes this kind of sensation for a month? Or is it related to any other situation?

Thanks,
Sam.

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Are you indulge yourself in masturbating too frequently? Or sex a bit more? Those can be often issues which can cause these numbness or tingling or burning.Just keep these facts in your mind. Also, nerve damage due to Diabetes and multiple sclerosis (MS) are among the diseases that can cause nerve damage and affect feeling in the penis. So,meet your doctor and consult with him about this and though the chance is rare, ask for a screening of them.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counseling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
Take care
