Pelvic infection or pregnancy ?

User Profile
Hi! So im a little worried that I might be pregnant. I had unprotected sex with my husband on the 4th day of my period and he ejaculated inside of me. I didn't know at the time that a woman could get pregnant on her period so we thought we would be safe. Well I was supposed to ovulate on the 17th and I ALWAYS feel my ovulation. Well we had protected sex on the 14th but when we were done we realized that the condom fell off after he came! Then to make matters worse the next morning I felt myself ovulate! I was 2 days early and I am 100% sure I ovulated! Im supposed to start my period on october 30th but I am having pregnancy symptoms (This would be my 2nd pregnancy). I had a c-section 14 months ago. Anyways im having alot of pelvic pain and I can barley walk! My low back is in so much pain my husband can't even rub my back! Im nauseous and bloated. Could I be pregnant? And if so should i be having all this pain? Could I have a pelvic infection? Please help!

Hi, and thanks for your medical question on eHealth forum!

Since you are in so much pain, is there a chance that part of condom is still inside your vagina. Other possibility is pelvic inflammatory disease. It can also be a fibroid or a burst cyst. Please get this investigated immediately. Hope this helps. Take care!
