Hi, I am 22 years old and I think I may be pregnant, but because I have PCOS it's hard to know whether this is just my body being weird or that I am actually pregnant.
I was on birth control for about 3 years for pcos and natural reasons, but stopped taking it in October 2012 as my boyfriend and I decided to start ttc. Since then my periods have continued to be regular (31 day cycle is my norm - but can be 28-35 days) except I am now two weeks late (as if were a 35 day cycle) and have been showing signs of pregnancy, including: sore breasts (super sore for about a week), urinating more, fatigue, back aches, weight gain in my belly, odd cravings and also a positive hpt. I know I should get a blood test done as this would provide more accurate results, but I was just wondering if anyone had been in this position before and whether they actually were pregnant. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much because I know it can be very difficult for women with pcos to get pregnant, but does it sound like I really could be pregnant or is this just my imagination?

Thanks
Ana

A positive pregnancy test is normally a very good reason to think you are pregnant, especially with all the other signs you are having.

Take another test of a different make to confirm, then see your doctor.

Best of luck!
