I had a natural miscarriage six days ago, I passed the entire placenta at once. Never had any heavy bleeding or clotting. I experienced four hours of labor pains and afterwards that’s when io expelled the placenta. Today, one day short of a week later, I passed a very rubbery clot. I felt something trying to expell and it was about the size of my thumb. No pain or discomfort, no bleeding just the spotting I have been having. What could it be?

Thank you for asking at Ehealth forum!

I read your question and I understand your concern.
Probability is that is a clot. But it can be a retained product of conceptus. You need to be evaluated by your doctor and if needed , an ultrasonography can be done to confirm the process is complete.
I hope it helps. Stay in touch with your healthcare provider for further guidance as our answers are just for education and counselling purposes and cannot be an alternative to actual visit to a doctor.
