I experience pain in my hands every morning, most especially in my right index finger middle joint. My hands are swollen and it is difficult to make fists. Condition improves as the day goes forward, but there is always some measure of pain in the joints. Pain and stiffness return if I become stationary for an extended period of time, as they are hurting now due to sitting awhile searching the internet for information. I can never make a complete fist without any pain. I have experienced this now for three years and it is getting worse. Wrists bother me and sometimes pain travels to elbow.
