first my left hand became very sensitive to touch,just touching the skin it stings,then day later hand has swallon and is now working its way up to my wrist.Ive not knocked it,no problem while sleeping,any idea?

Hello, and thanks for your medical question on ehealth forum.

From the description of your symptoms it seems that you might have developed cellulitis of your hand.

You might benefit by using ibuprofen which might help to reduce your symptoms and the swelling. Icepacks and rest will also be of help.

In case the symptoms do not subside, you might consult a doctor for a physical examination and proper treatment.
