I have been told I have an oversized heart -hypertrophic cardiomyopathy

I get chest pains ,but the Doctors say I must have the flu. I am scared it may kill me?

What should I do ?

Chest pains is one of the major symptom in symptomatic patient with cardiomyopathy.
Another symptoms are dizziness, shortness of breath, fainting, heart palpitations, fatigue, hypertension.
See cardiologist, and if you are really developing symptoms of enlarged heart, you'll be put on certain medication.
