Oval shaped gestational with a diameter of 14 mm.

User Profile
6w4d vaginal ultrasound showed nothing, no yolk sac or fetal pole. 8/11 hcg was 11000, on 8/17 was 40812. Oval shaped gestational with a diameter of 14 mm. Is there any hope left for this pregnancy? LMP was July 3rd but unsure of when I ovulated.

Hello,
I am sorry to say but really there is as such no hope. This is a missed miscarriage and this pregnancy will not continue. The general dictum is to do a repeat scan after 2 weeks and if the same finding persists, go for an evacuation. Also get prepared to have a bleeding per vagina at any time.
