User Profile
Hi. I'm a boy and I'm 22 and I have headaches about some years. My headaches have some signs. First of all before every headache about 2 or 3 hours I have nasal congestion. some times when I use Some decongestants I have no headache. the second sign is that my headache is always at left side of my head. and the headache is located on left temple. my headache often attacks when I wake up on afternoon sleep. something important is I HAD NEVER HAD HEADACHES FOR MORE THAN ONE HALF DAY. My headaches are ONE OR TWO TIMES IN A MONTH. and the last things I should say that my headache starts sometimes when I use heavy food (fish or meat) and sometimes my headache starts when my sleep is not regular. thank for your helps.

General Q and A Answer A45555
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The associated symptoms that you describe for the headaches could suggest sinus headaches (if prevented after use of decongestant), or due to gastritis (if occurs after having rich/heavy food). Consider visiting your doctor/healthcare provider for thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause and get started on treatment as appropriate for cure and prevention of further recurrences. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/healthcare provider and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
