on the third sugar pill and my period hasn't arrived.

I've been taking Yaz the birth control pill for a year now, and up until last month, everything was normal. This month I had unprotected sex several times. I'm on the third sugar pill today and my period hasn't arrived. I took three home pregnancy tests today and they all came out negative, yet my body has shown no sigs of menstruation. Additionally, I've had an increased sense of smell and light cramping on my lower abdomen, without any sort of menstrual discharge. Is it possible that I am pregnant?

Hello,

Welcome to ehealthforum

If you have been taking the pills regularly then possibility of pregnancy is remote. The periods might start in a few days time.
If you have missed any of the pills then pregnancy can be considered. If the periods do not start within a week consider visiting a Gynaecologist for evaluation.

Take Care!

I am having the same problem. I am taking Lutera and have seen no sign of my period. It usually starts after I take the third sugar pill but nothing. Any ideas as to why? I am freaking out...
