on 200 mg synthroid daily.. Is it possible to get pregnant?

I had thyroid cancer I had my thyroid removed .I am on 200 mg of synthroid daily.. Is it possible to get pregnant ? I am 38 yrs old .

Welcome to e health forum.

In case, your thyroid cancer, has been completely cured and your thyroid function tests are within normal range, you can definitely go ahead and try to concieve.

But if the thyroid functions are abnormal, then proper therapy (change in medication dosage) would help in normalizing the TSH levels. Conception should be tried only after 3 months after the levels are normal.
