Hi! Here is the answer to your query on eHealth Forum!

Well, the effect of implanon may not be 100% in September. So, there is some chance of pregnancy. However, in most cases ovulation usually does not return this soon. On the other hand you may ovulate if you are not covered by birth control. So there is a 50-50 chance either ways.

Bloating and yellow discharge can be the withdrawal symptoms of being off Implanon. If you miss periods, do take pregnancy test. However, do also remember that periods can be irregular after stopping birth control and may take 3-6 months to get into a set pattern. So, if you want to avoid pregnancy, use other methods of contraception.

Hope this helps! Take care!
