Welcome to ehealthforum,
After being on prolonged use of Depo shot, if you have had regular periods, it would suggest return of fertility. If you have been sexually active then the missed period could be due to pregnancy. If you are not pregnant, then the possibilities would include secondary amenorrhea, hormonal imbalances, thyroid abnormalities, ovarian suppression or failure, etc. The exact cause can only be made out after careful evaluation. Visit your doctor/gynecologist for further evaluation, clarification and assistance. Look out for development of any new symptoms. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately.
Take care.
