on and off bleeding for 3 weeks now?

User Profile
I've had my period for like, almost 3 weeks now. But the bleeding is is on and off. I don't know what's wrong probably it's because of my stress patterns and so my hormones are all topsy-turvy. Any explanation for this?

Welcome to ehealthforum,
Stress, hormonal imbalances, thyroid hormone dysfunction, changes in exercise pattern, changes in sleep or eating habits can lead to bleeding pattern abnormalities. Do not ignore your symptoms. Visit your doctor/gynecologist soon for thorough evaluation to look for the underlying cause. Treatment as needed (based on examination and investigation results) would be started to help you regularize periods.
Take care.
