Hi,
Welcome to the forum. I am really glad to help you out. Nuva ring is to be inserted inside the vagina once and is to be kept in place for 21 days. The ring is removed by the woman after 3 weeks, which allows periods to occur. The NuvaRing is 92% to 99.7% effective. When it is not used for 21 days in a row, then chances of pregnancy are definitely high if there was any unprotected intercourse. I sincerely hope this information helps. Take care.
