Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
You should consider removing Nuvaring if you are planning for sexual activity/intercourse. Do not keep Nuvaring out for more than 3 hours. You can store unused Nuvaring at room temperature, 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit) for about 4 months. Temperatures can be from 59-86F (15-30C). Avoid direct sunlight or storing above 86F (30C). Nuvaring is activated by being brought up to body temperature before insertion. You store the used Nuvaring (the one you would put in back after intercourse) in a clean container (preferably pre-sterilized by boiling in water or dipping container in hot water).
Take care.
