Nuva Ring, cramping, bloating, nausea, headache...

OK I haven't had trouble with Nuva Ring other being emotional sometimes. I have to leave it in for 3 weeks and change it to a new one right away because of my endimetriosis. I am 22 and and I am using the Nuva ring correctly I think. I had to be on a antibiotic for a week which was last week. I had break through bleeding. I expected it since I was on an antibiotic. Then on Tuesday of this week I had acupuncture done for endimetriosis. I knew the person who did it and he put a metal piece on my ear (where the acupuncture was done) to probably keep the nerves going. Well I know what my ovulating feels like and I haven't felt it for 4 months. The last two days have been nothing but cramping bloating nausea headache . I couldn't eat all day and I just thought all off this was interesting because you can't Ovulate on nuva ring.. any advice or comment is welcome thx

Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum.
Although it is known that Nuvaring use suppresses ovulation, chances of ovulation are possible as the efficacy can get affected due to antibiotic. If worried, avoid unprotected sexual contact if not ready for pregnancy. Visit your doctor/gynecologist at the earliest for further evaluation, clarification and assistance. Get started on treatment as appropriate (based on examination findings and evaluation results) to help you control the symptoms. Be in regular monitoring and follow-up with your treating doctor/gynecologist and report any new/abnormal symptoms immediately. Drink plenty of water. Take adequate rest. Maintain healthy diet and lifestyle.
Take care.
