I have numbness in my left arm on and off. Sometimes it depends on the position that I am in, when I re-adujust the arm, it goes away. It feels as though the arm is falling asleep. It is only on my left side. What could it be?

It sounds like you might have a pinched nerve or the way you are resting on it is causing the nerve to get pinched.
If it continues you might want to call your doctor.
