No sex. No ejaculation. No genital contact.

Hey everyone.

A little over a month ago, right after my girlfriends period, my girlfriend and I were fooling around a bit in bed. HOWEVER, there was no ejaculation. I had my boxers on the entire time and she had shorts on. And of course we didn't have sex.

However, there was a point where pre cum came out (while she was covered, didn't go anywhere past my penis and I didn't touch her genital area with my hands at all afterwards) and I put my penis into my boxers.

But then, while my penis had PRE CUM on it and while it was IN my boxers I teased my girlfriend a bit and moved her shorts to the side and started poking at her vagina. My penis never came out of my boxers AND there was no penetration.

Fast forward a bit... She has been having nausea problems for a while and having some fatigue. (The nausea problems are the most concerning because she's always saying I feel like puking now etc). I would say she has had mood swings but I could just be being paranoid.

Here's where it gets more confusing, she HAD her period for this month, but it was 2/3 days early. As far as I know (I don't live with her and she doesn't ever tell me anything about her period) it wasn't just implantation bleeding. I know this because 1) she had cramps 2) she was CLEARLY moodier than she usually is (I know her period moods and that's exactly how she was) and 3) it lasted her normal 4/5 days.

Now naturally, as soon as I heard she got her period I was super relieved BUT today (about 5 days after her period ended) she is still having the nauseous feeling and having fatigue etc. So I did some research online and found out you can supposedly in fact have a period while pregnant with cramps and everything.

Now my question is.. Could she be pregnant?? And I know you're supposed to take a pregnancy test after a MISSED period, but technically she had her period so when should I take the test?

Thank you

I would be very surprised if the contact you describe lead to pregnancy. Since the early pregnancy signs are continuing after a "period" a home pregnancy test would be prudent. Any first morning pee this weekend should be pretty reliable. Other early signs she might look for include lotion discharge, backache, sore breasts, upset gut. If she is not pregnant and the signs continue she should get a check up for other reasons. This would be a good opportunity for her to talk to her doc about a birth control plan.

Since there was no ejaculation involved, there is no possibility of pregnancy.
