Welcome to the forum and I am really glad to help you out.

In view of your symptoms, I’ll suggest doing urine for pregnancy test and possibly the serum pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. An ultrasound of the uterus can also be done to look for the gestation sac.

If pregnancy is ruled out, then other causes of irregular periods need to be looked into.

It can happen because of hormonal imbalance, increased stress, eating disorder, increased smoking, alcohol or caffeine use and medical conditions like PCOS, fibroid, polyps and endometriosis.

Please do consult a gynecologist for the same. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
